Style Korean hosted a review event for Leegeehaam products and I was one the chosen to try this set. All three products that I received were from the brand’s signature line, Grow, which offers skin-friendly ingredients from the nature making them true to the brand’s “botanic science” principle. The package included the Matcha Clay Pack, Hyal B5 Toner, and Vita Propolis Ampoule.⠀

MATCHA CLAY PACK is a wash-off mask with antioxidant-rich matcha to purify and detoxify dull skin. It helps to tighten enlarged pores as it dries, maintaining skin smooth and revitalized.⠀

▪️What I love most about this mask is that it doesn’t leave my skin feeling tight afterwards which is almost always the case when I use this type of mask. Leegeehaam’s website also mentions that redness may appear after rinsing due to the tightening effect, and while that usually happens to me with other masks, I haven’t experienced that with this, which is kinda amazing! Aside from it’s gentleness, on me at least, it also makes my skin instantly brighter, cleaner and softer! Couldn’t really ask for more! It also has a faint citrus-y smell from the tub but actually more earthy when applied on the skin which dissipates after a while.
HYAL B5 TONER contains five hyaluronic ingredients to deeply moisturize skin and provide long lasting hydration. It also has Vitamin B5 and B3 to maintain hydration and prevent water loss. It revitalizes dull and rough skin, leaving it radiant and plump and also has niacinamide and centella asiatica extract.
▪️The toner has a slightly thick but still watery texture. It feels good on the skin, spreads nicely, and absorbs really well. I use three pumps when I apply this alone or two pumps when I mix it with the Vita Propolis Ampoule (more on that later). I also like to layer this but only up to two applications as I’ve noticed that my skin takes a long time to absorb a third layer. It is worth mentioning that I started using the toner while I’m on Differin and I am happy to report that I did not encounter any irritation. In fact, skin always feels moist and soft afterterwards which is great since the Differin has caused my skin, particularly the chin area, to feel slightly drier than usual. Thanks to the buffet of hyaluronic plus centella asiatica extract, this really helps soothe and moisturize my skin. Lastly, it has a faint citrus scent which I believe if from the ingredients since there isn’t any additional fragrance listed.
VITA PROPOLIS AMPOULE is multi-tasking ampoule formulated with 50% propolis extract that richly nourishes the skin and vitamin tree that brightens up the dull skin tone, leaving it revitalized, radiant, and supple. It also contains niacinamide, witch hazel, centella asiatica extract.
▪️I have been using this ampoule for a while now and this came at a perfect time since I finished my bottle last week! Ampoules used to confuse me but from what I’ve read, they’re like highly concentrated treatment filled with JUST THE GOOD STUFF. I love mixing this with the Hada Labo toner (as suggested by @septemgirl and @porepatrol) and that combo feels so lux on the skin - so amazing! So I thought of trying it with the Hyal B5 Toner too but the texture is quite different probably because Hada Labo is much thinner and watery. I still like mixing them though since I get serious hydration which my skin really needs right now. But when I feel like my skin needs all the help it can get (hello, breakouts and purging), I apply the ampoule on its own and it really calms and soothes my skin. I was initially afraid that the ampoule will be too heavy for me since it kinda looks like oil but it actually has a surprisingly light texture. It absorbs nicely and doesn’t leave my skin looking too greasy throughout the day. It just gives a nice glow. It is also great to blend makeup with! I really love using it! The bottle is very small (tiny actually!) but it works well for me so that’s fine. Scent-wise, it smells faintly of honey. ••• Thank you, @stylekorean_global for letting me try these @leegeehaam_global goodies!
