I’ve tried this once before and remembered it to be pretty good so I decided to use it again a week or two ago when I felt like my skin needed some exfoliating.
• The pad was soaked with the gommage solution and has 2 different sides. The white side is to be used all over the face and is made of cotton but quite thick and stiff. The yellow side has a gauze-like texture, thicker than the white side, and it is designed to use on the nose area and under the chin.
• It works exactly like any other gommage product, it pills the dead skin off, except this one is in a pad form which offers additional exfoliation.
• After using the pad, my skin was super bright! Brighter than other gommage products I’ve tried (Cure & the Rosette). However, my skin quickly felt uncomfortably tight. The instructions said to wash off the product with water so I did. When I applied toner, my skin started to feel sticky. It was even stickier after applying an essence. It was so weird because I didn’t experience this the last time and it was the stickiest feeling I’ve ever encountered from using a skincare product. Although I loved the amazing brightening effect, the sticky feeling is something I find untolerable but I was glad that the stickiness eventually went away by the time I finished my routine. I have a couple of pads left and I’ll most probably use them but I can’t say it’s something I am excited about.
