I saw a post on my feed a while back where this brilliant gal saved the extra essence left from the same sheet mask.
I've been searching people's feed so I can find the original post and properly credit this smart idea because look how much I was able to save - 1.5 containers! These should be enough for a DIY sheet mask, right? Whoever you are, sorry I couldn't find you but thank you very much for sharing! I love this #abcommunity! 💕--
This is my first time to use the Naruko Tea Tree Shine Control & Blemish Clear Mask (first ever Naruko product, actually) and I am so impressed! The hype is legit! The sheet material is quite thick but the fit is AMAZING. It just hugs my face well and stays in place, so much that I didn't realize that the upper lip area was already drying up around 40 mins into masking as the mask was still sitting very still. And it calmed my blemishes and left my skin brighter and refreshed! ✨
With so much essence left, I can get 2 uses out of one mask. How awesome is that? I also got the Raw Job's Tears, let's see if that also has as much essence as the Tea Tree! ❤

Late post: tried DIY sheet mask a couple of nights ago (my first time ever!) using the leftover essence from a Naruko Tea Tree mask. Now I understand why it seems like people prefer using leftover essence from masks as essence rather than with a DIY compressed sheet mask. Although I was able to save a lot of the leftover essence, it only gave me a damp sheet mask - so far from how a freshly opened sheet mask is swimming in product.
Naruko lasted for 35 minutes, more or less, before it started drying up. This, just lasted less than 15 minutes. Plus the quality of the compressed mask, material wise, isn't as nice compared to Naruko's, but that was expected.
On a positive note, the fit was actually nice and hugged my face well. And even though it wasn't as soaked like the real thing, it did give me brighter and refreshed skin. But I really think I can get more uses out of the excess essence if I use it as an essence. I guess I will have to experiment and mix up my own magical sheet mask potion! ✨
