Got home really late (or rather early this morning 😣) from a night out. I was completely buzzed but made sure to at least remove my makeup. I would normally double cleanse but I wanted to test the #Benton Tea Tree Cleansing Water to remove makeup. I’ve already used it the day before but only as a morning cleanser. ⠀
I first used the #Bifesta Eye Makeup Remover then followed by the #Benton Tea Tree Cleansing Water. Swipe left to see photos of the cotton pads.
⠀
• I used a total of 3 cotton pads with the cleansing water. The first one also removed remnants of eye makeup while the second and third pads removed the rest of my makeup. It was a bit hard to see traces of makeup with the third pad since I used the Miniso Charcoal Cleansing Cotton Pads which is gray in color.
• It seemed like all my makeup was gone with the third pad so I used a white one to check. One side picked up a light trace of makeup so I used the opposite side to wipe again (not shown in photo) and it came out clean.
• It also felt a little tacky on the skin so I sprayed on a little #Avene Thermal Spring Water and that took away the sticky feeling.
• I did not apply anything else after cleansing and went straight to bed. When I woke up, I was pretty pleased with how my skin looked as it seemed like I had done a full routine before sleeping. I did develop a teeny tiny pimple but I think it’s from the drinking and staying up late.
⠀
Overall, I am liking the cleansing water and the fact that it is infused with Tea Tree to help control blemishes. I also like that it’s not stripping. I will continue using this and also have my daughter try it as well since she’s suffering from hormonal acne. I’ll definitely post another review in the future. Thank you @bentoncosmetic for the opportunity to try this new product.
