I picked up this mask at a souvenir shop at #NamiIsland in Korea early last year. This was such an interesting find. I mean, a tourist spot selling their own brand of sheet masks? This just proves that skincare in Korea really is a serious business.
Claims:
Moisturizing, pore care, skin clearing, mild formula, anti-wrinkle, provides rich nutrition (translated using Google Translate app).
⠀
Essence:
The essence was on the thick side and had a rose scent that was tolerable but it lingered on throughout the time I was wearing the mask. There was quite a lot of essence left and I was able to apply on both arms and lower legs.
⠀
Mask:
The mask was on the thick side but for really well. It also had more slits than usual for a better fit.
⠀
Notable ingredients include:
• Glycerine - keep moisture in skin
• Rosa Centifolia Flower Water - anti-aging
• Fomes Officinalis (Mushroom) Extract - improves skin tightness and firmness, diminish appearance of pores
• Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Water - improves dry or damaged skin, restores the suppleness of skin
• Allantoin - helps to soften and protect while actively soothing skin
• Adenosine - improve skin elasticity
⠀
Results:
I have oily skin but my skin felt like it needed extra hydration the night I used the mask. The mask did provide the moisture that my skin needed, however, it left my skin feeling a little tacky which is a big turn-off for me. I also got two rash spots while wearing the mask but the redness eventually calmed down. The following morning, skin was soft but the rash spots developed into tiny bumps. Overall, the mask moisturized my skin but there is something in there that slightly irritated my skin.
