I'm so glad I didn't give up on this. The first time I used it, I got blemishes the following day. After a few weeks, I tried it again for a couple of times but didn't really see any impressive results. I couldn't accept that this just might not be for me! I kept thinking, if this is such an awesome product (it is reported to be the #1 exfoliator in Japan where a bottle is sold every 12 seconds! 😱), then why isn't it working for me? 😩
You know how when you have a new beauty product, you're so excited that you jump straight to using it? I think that was the reason why I wasn't getting great results - I didn't pay attention to the instructions! It is suggested to use it on clean/washed skin (which I didn't do - I know. Gross. Don't judge me, please! 😬😂). My reasoning then was why go thru the trouble of cleansing first when this is supposed to exfoliate your skin and make it squeaky clean? Buuuuut when I thought about it real hard, if your face is dirty and you exfoliate and open your pores, dirt will seep in the pores! 💡So I tried the correct way and it was like magic! ✨ (This was waaaaay before I started obsessing over skincare and learned how important double cleansing is)
I also came across an article recommending to use it to exfoliate other body parts like the underarms. I tried that and it worked great! Skin was visibly softer and nicer. 😊 One of the things I love about this product is how you see balls of dead skin forming when you massage the product on your skin, even with a very light hand. It's also amazing how simple ingredients can be so effective! Best part is, my face always feels really clean, soft and bright after using this! Love love love this! 💞
** Can I just add how little I have left of it? I think my youngest daughter has been playing with it, the bottle had dried up product all over! I could imagine her pumping the product out like craaaaazy! 😫ðŸ˜
